Basic Trainings for Puppy Dog Along With Her Potty

Whenever somebody in the house brings in a new puppy, everybody feels the adoration and excitement to dote on this innocent puppy. But there is someone left who might be a bit nervous in the middle of the brimming excitement inside the house—the puppy.

So, to give your puppy a relief it is advised to look the pup in the eyes before you finally bring her in your house. This may sound a bit weird but you will find the meaning of this when you do it. This is especially suggested if you are planning to train your pup.

Now, while training your puppy, make sure that you transfer the potted plants to a higher place. This is because potted plants look attractive to the puppy. Also, include your personal stuff that are placed in baskets or beneath the coffee table.

These are parts of your pup’s training, this will only be temporary. As your puppy familiarizes with her place in the house, you can return your things to their original positions.

The purpose of doing all this is to remove their curiosity with those objects. And that will allow you to teach your pup the fundamental training she needs.

Remember that it is vital to realize that your puppy is still an animal, as much as you want her to feel as a part of the family, you will need to train her first. And this training is very important.

Your puppy will take the signal in her environment. If you let her feel the freedom of reigning in the house and have access to all things, you are giving her an idea that she is the one in charge. Your puppy has an instinct, and living in a group is the pups’ main instinct, the moment your puppy feels that she can do whatever she wants and there is no boss, she would be thinking that she is the head of her group.

Thus, orienting her that she is not the head of the group right at the moment she enters the house, she is already learning the fundamentals of the training, and this will make it easier both for your family and for your puppy as well.

In addition, it is a common mistake to let your puppy sleep in the kitchen or in the utility room. Puppies belong to the family of the wolf, and they would rather have their own den.

Although some people thinks that putting a puppy inside a crate is brutal, the pup will love to sleep in it if it will be set up suitably.

When you are preparing to have a new puppy, and you are planning to buy her a crate, don’t buy the largest crate with the thought that your pup will grow up in it. This thought is the worse error owners often commit. Your pup’s crate should just be big enough for her to stand up and move around in.

As you introduce the crate to your puppy, do not just let her in and close the door after. This will just disturb her. Let your puppy be familiarized first. Praise her as she enters her crate.

Most importantly, do not just buy your pup her crate; train her and observe her routine. Then, you can go to the next training that she needs to learn.
